The Aureus Business Week is an event that connects companies and students through challenging and interactive activities. The event is held at the end of November. The ABW aims at highly motivated Bachelor and Master students of the School of Business Economics, who want to orientate on the next step after university life. Within this week students can participate in formal and mostly informal activities with several well-known companies. In short, the Aureus Business Week is an exciting week where students and companies get to meet each other in fun and interactive ways. For students, this is a great opportunity to get inspired and meet potential future employers. Companies get a chance to present themselves and recruit high potential students.

What do I learn as a committee member?

As a committee member, you will learn to work and communicate in a diverse and enthusiastic team of six to eight students. Becoming a member of this committee is a perfect way to develop yourself personally and professionally. Depending on your position you are going to guide your team, acquire and negotiate with large companies, be responsible for the marketing strategy of the event, keep track of all the information flows and communication with important stakeholders, or create and retain the budget of the ABW. You will gain persuasive and organizational skills, learn how to deal with deadlines and how to act in a professional business environment.
