Maximize your introduction week with Aureus!

Aureus is the Study Association for all students at the School of Business and Economics (SBE) at “de Vrije Universiteit” in Amsterdam. With more than 5,000 members, Aureus is one of the largest and most active Study Associations in the Netherlands. Aureus supports students in their need of development during their studies, in preparation for the next step after the SBE. The VU Introduction Days will be an entire week, filled with fun activities, organized for new students. It is a unique opportunity to make new friends as you find out all about Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Join a group of your fellow newcomers for the ultimate first experience of Amsterdam.

This weekend takes place the weekend in the Introduction Week, Friday the 27th of August until Sunday the 29th of August. Stay in touch!

It is really important to be connected to stay in touch with your fellow students. Therefore, Aureus has created Whatsapp Group Chats for all the bachelor studies of the School of Business and Economics of the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam!

Also it very usefull to follow Aureus on Instagram, Facebook Uni-Life, and LinkedIn. Especially, Instagram and Facebook are important during the introduction week because we will do special challenges where you can win great prices!

Covid19 measures and the VU Introduction week

Despite the limitations because of the measurements regarding Covid19, the VU and Aureus will have a full week program lined up for you. Whereas the VU takes care of practical sessions, for you to get to know the digital environment and all services that the university offers, Aureus takes care of social cohesion for your study specifically. The week will take place in a so-called “hybrid” form, a combination of online and offline activities. It will, therefore, be still possible to meet fellow students in your studies.
