Our Partner Organization

Our partner organization for this year’s project in Jamaica is RSVP Caribbean Volunteers. With its head office in Jamaica and several sub-offices all around the Caribbean, the company sets a clear mission: "identify programmes and projects that are aligned to local needs and provide mutually beneficial opportunities for volunteers, communities and partners to make a real difference."

RSVP Caribbean Volunteers puts its focus on the most essential issues that locals have to deal with on a daily basis. These issues include poverty, illiteracy, unemployment, poor health services and facilities, the lacking access to basic necessities such as food, clothing and shelter only to name a few. The sustainable development goal for this year’s project in Jamaica is to decrease poverty. For this, we will reach out to small local entrepreneurs who are currently struggling to move their business forward and work on solutions that will hopefully leave an impact in their lives (to find out more about the local businesses go to “Company Descriptions”).

With over 20 years of combined experience and partnerships with volunteers from over 40 countries, it is safe to say that RSVP Caribbean Volunteers has already positively affected the lives of many people. We are therefore very excited to be part of this project and eager to take on the challenge: We want to change the life of Jamaicans for the better!
