I think we are all very well-known with drinking wine. However, are you also able to tell something interesting about the wine that you are drinking? Do you know if it is a good or bad one? From which year? And are you able to name the wine accurately? Well, this is your chance to break an awkward silence during a drink or dinner and to upgrade your wine-knowledge. Because Aureus offers you wine training. This training is only for committee members.
On Wednesday the 8th of May from 18.00 until 20.15 we will taste 8 different wines. We will get informed about how to choose a good wine and how to become aware of the different tastes in wine. Of course some nice snacks will be included too. This training will not take place at the VU, but at the Veranda (Amstelveenseweg 764, 1081 JK Amsterdam). This is just a 10-minute walk or 3-minute bike ride from the VU. After the training, we will go to the monthly drink at the Woody’s.
If you want, you can join us for dinner too at the Aureus rooms at 17.00 after which we will leave together to the Veranda to have the wine training. If you don’t want to eat along you can come to the Veranda directly.
There are no costs involved in the training and dinner.
