Good news! This week the government has announced that there will be several relaxations of the regulations. This means that we can also host more offline activities. So far that’s going great! We have already hosted events where people can walk/ bike in small groups and we organized a trip for all our bachelor students. Next to that, we had a Glühwalk and a Crazy 88 for our committee members. We are currently looking into more options to host bigger events right before the summer break such as an Aureus festival week at the beginning of July. So stay tuned!
Of course, we will continue to follow all the guidelines given by the government, by still offering you as many events as possible. You can stay updated on our website and social media. If you have any questions regarding our services or events, or if you have any other concerns, feel free to contact email@example.com, and we will make sure to help you in the best way possible!
Since the previous update, our events have been organised online. At least until The Netherlands is not in lockdown anymore, all events organized by Aureus will take place online. We offer a broad range of interesting online activities, so make sure to stay up-to-date with our weekly event overview on Instagram (aureus_amsterdam) or via other Social Media. If you have any questions regarding our services or events, or if you have any other concerns, feel free to contact firstname.lastname@example.org, and we will make sure to help you in the best way possible!
Since the lockdown that was announced in December, the VU is only open for students who are not able to study at home. For tips regarding studying at home, and the FAQ about Corona, you can visit this page.
After the press conference this Tuesday, it was announced that the Netherlands will go into a partial lockdown to help reduce the number of infections. Therefore, we will cancel all offline events for at least the upcoming 4 weeks. Of course, we still want to be there for you, so we will soon come with a plan for online events. Please keep an eye on our events page & social media.
The new measures do not change a lot for the VU. Therefore, if you are not able to study at home properly, you can come to the VU. One thing to keep in mind is that, as of last night, it is mandatory to wear a face mask when moving around the building. Once you are seated, you can remove the face mask. You can always visit www.vu.nl/coronavirus for information about the VU in the current situation, or https://www.rivm.nl/en/novel-coronavirus-covid-19 for all of the measures.
The VU has announced updates on working and studying at the VU, and also about the option of wearing mouth masks at the VU campus. Please visit www.vu.nl/coronavirus to read the whole update and be fully informed!
After last night’s press conference, there are limited possibilities for us to still organize events offline. Also, as COVID-19 is circulating more and more in Amsterdam, we will unfortunately cancel all offline activities for at least the upcoming three weeks.
We hope to help you still during the intense exam period the upcoming weeks, by offering our services and other extras, all online. We will inform you if there are any changes regarding our events. Of course, when the measures and circumstances allow us, we will make sure to make it up to you!
We will look closely at the measures and the steps taken by our faculty, for now, the VU has not announced any additional measures. Once we are more informed, we will make sure to help you be informed about the possibilities to study on campus, for example. For now, stay safe and you can always contact us for any questions.
