Hey everyone,
I am Job Schoonenberg and I am 23 years old. This year I will be the Digital Systems Officer of the 74th board of Aureus. As Digital Systems Officer, I will be in charge of the website and I will also be working a lot with Salesforce and all our other data software.
I started studying at the VU in 2018, in my first year, I only was a member of Aureus. In my second year I joined Aureus as a committee member, I became part of the wintersports committee. We organized a ski trip to La Plagne, which was a great success and still one of my highlights during my studies. In my second year at Aureus, I joined the Internal Events committee. I was really looking forward to it, however COVID-19 hit and we had to be creative to organize social events. Nevertheless, I still learned a lot that year. After 2 years of social committees, I thought it was time to do something else and I became part of the TedXVU committee. Last year we organized the first offline TedXVU and it was a great success.
After three years of being a committee member, I was interested in doing a board year. After some coffees with former board members, I knew I wanted to become part of the Aureus board history and also to get a lot of work experience while I am also able to extend my study life.
