Hi! I am İlayda and I am the Career Officer of 74th board of Aureus. I came to the Netherlands in 2018 for study. In my first year I did a 1 year foundation program and after that I started my bachelors in International Business Administration at the VU.
I wasn’t involved in a committee during my studies however, I met with Aureus during my introduction week and used their services through my study. After 6 months of starting my bachelor’s degree I went back to Turkey because of a pandemic and stayed there for a year. Studying almost 2 years fully online I decided to look for options where I can experience the student life more. I saw the post about board year on Instagram and I wanted to get to know more about it. After talking with some previous board members, I decided to apply. My motivation for applying is to meet with new people and get in touch with companies while organizing the career events. Also gain professional experience to prepare myself for the corporate world.
I am looking forward to my journey in the 74th board of Aureus and I am sure we will make a year full of fun and success.
