About Quinten:
In the coming year, I will serve as the marketing officer and vice chairman of the 73rd board of Aureus. A wonderful challenge that I am very much looking forward to!
In 2015 (yes, back then) I started studying Marketing Management at The Hague University of Applied Sciences. A very fun time where I made many friends and did cool things. During my third year I then chose to do a pre-master during the minor period. In my final bachelor year I also did an internship at Ahold Delhaize Coffee Company as a Trade Marketer. A very challenging internship where I learned everything about coffee.
After successfully completing my bachelor, I started in 2019 at Erasmus University Rotterdam with the Master Marketing. A very nice master in one of the most beautiful cities in the country. When that college year started, I actually knew right away that I wanted to do a second master’s. Thus, I eventually ended up at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam where I followed the Master Strategy & Organization. It was during that year that I eventually came into contact with Aureus. Not that I attended many events, but I did grab some discounts here and there.
Sometime in January 2021, an advertisement about a board year at Aureus caught my eye. Something that attracted me because I hadn’t done anything like that yet. Yet it wasn’t obvious either, because after a bachelor’s and two masters you can get started with a first job just fine. Still, a year on the board really appealed to me, which is why I applied, and eventually I was chosen to join the board. As I write this text, I can tell you that choosing to join Aureus was a great decision and that I would recommend it to anyone.
