Hi everyone!
I’m Mirthe Chung, the Career Officer of the 78th board of Aureus. I’m 22 years old and I grew up in Amsterdam. I recently finished my Bachelor’s in International Business Administration with a specialization in Consultancy, and completed my studies with an internship at Spring GDS, an international B2B shipping company.
My journey with Aureus started in my first year, when I joined the Intro Committee doing marketing. In my second year, I continued as chair of a sports committee, and in my third year I was an all-round member of the CSR committee. Being part of these committees over the years is what made me want to take the next step and apply for a board year myself. I think it’s an exciting challenge, but also an opportunity to learn an incredible amount about myself, others, and how an association like Aureus really works.
As Career Officer, I am responsible for organising and creating synergies between the various career events and the professional development of students. I also maintain our cooperation with the SBE Career Services and the Master Coordinators, and supervise the committees SBE Master Introduction, Aureus Business Week, Amsterdam Career Days, Zuidas Tour & Master Club STREEM.
Outside of Aureus, I love surfing, working out, and cooking for friends and family. I try to be active in any way I can, and I’m always up for trying something new.
