Hi!

I’m Milan van Kamperdijk, 21 years old, born and raised in Hilversum. I recently completed my Bachelor’s degree in International Business Administration with a specialization in Management consulting at the VU. During my studies, I had the opportunity to row for the Lightweight Men Freshmen’s Eight of Okeanos which was a great success! After, I went on an unforgettable exchange for a semester to Lisbon. I love spending time playing the guitar, telemark skiing, surfing, and enjoying the night sky.

I got in touch with Aureus for the first time during the introduction days of the VU which immediately sparked my interest. Next to my student association and meeting with friends, Aureus was the perfect combination for developing myself, growing my network, and enjoying so many fun activities! After my first year at Aureus, I decided to join a committee which was a great choice. From Aureus Academy to Aureus Business Week, I developed myself professionally next to my studies.

My responsibilities shape the general and functional policies that our board will pursue throughout the year to improve the association, collecting and analyzing survey data, handling ad hoc projects as they arise, and overseeing a few committees, including the Amsterdam Research Project, European Study Trip, TEDxVUAmsterdam 2024, and the Master Club for T&SCM. This role grants me the freedom to leave my mark on the year and the association. However, I must strike a balance to ensure I don’t become too caught up in my newfound freedom and can look back at the end of the year with pride in what I’ve achieved.
