Hey everyone!
I’m Frédérique and in the coming year, I will be the Commercial Officer and Vice-chairman of the 77th board of Aureus, and I’m looking forward to this challenge! As Commercial Officer, I am responsible for building and developing our relationships with our partners and stakeholders. Besides, I’m in charge of the acquisition of all committees and I coordinate the Amsterdam Career Days, Aureus Business Week and the Commercial Team. I am also involved in this year’s National Consultancy Competition. As Vice-Chairman, I am responsible for making strategic decisions and supporting the Chairman in managing the association.
I am currently 22 years old, and grew up in a small village called Oosthuizen. In 2022 I started the bachelor Business Administration at the VU, where I chose the specialization Human Resource Management/Leadership and Change Management in my third year. During my first year of business administration I became a committee member at Aureus, where I started in the Wintersports Committee as the Secretary. Then in my second year, I did the Internal Committee as the Controller.
I always wanted to go on exchange to the United States, so in my third year, I decided to go to the University of Massachusetts. I really enjoyed my time there and definitely all the sports games I went to. When I came back in December I wanted to do a committee again and I was placed in Aureus Business Week, which I left in June when I became the new candidate commercial officer and vice-chairman of the 77th board of Aureus.
