Hi everyone!
My name is Anne Drabbe, and this coming year I will be the Controller of the 78th board of Aureus! I am 23 years old and currently doing my master’s in Accounting and Control.
Before moving to Amsterdam a year ago, I lived in the United States for four years, where I got my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. I studied at Villanova University, right outside of Philadelphia. During these four years, next to studying, I played Division 1 hockey for my university. These were some of the best years of my life, and I met so many amazing people along the way. Aside from hockey, I also joined a sorority to get the full American college experience :)).
After moving to Amsterdam, I became involved with Aureus and joined the Zuidas Tour Committee. Throughout the year, I attended many fun events, such as the committee member weekend, gala, the European Study Trip, and many more. Everyone within Aureus was so welcoming, and I quickly met so many great people. This made me want to become even more involved with the association, which eventually led me to apply for a board year!
In my free time, I love to work out, whether that is running, hockey, or pilates. Besides that, I am always up for having drinks with friends on a terrace, especially when the weather is nice!
I am super excited to get started with the board year and am really looking forward to all the new experiences this year will bring.
