What is the ABW?
The Aureus Business Week is an event that connects the Business world and students through multiple days of challenging and fun activities. During the Aureus Business Week we offer you the opportunity to come in contact with some of the most prestigious companies in the Business sector.
We aim towards Bachelor and Master students that are highly motivated and want to orientate towards the next step in their life. Not only do you get to meet your potential new employer, you also get a chance to get inspired and learn all about the trending topics in Accounting, Retail, Marketing, IT, Strategy & Consultancy and Finance!
In short, this week full of formal and informal activities is where you can take your next step after student life!
Introduction of the Committee
Amber: Hi everyone! My name is Amber Politiek and I am the Chairman of the Aureus Business Week Committee 2022. I am 21 years old, and I am currently in my 2nd year bachelor Business Administration. In my spare time I like to go out for some good food or drinks with friends, play hockey or other sports like Rocycle and listen to some music.
I started this committee almost 9 months ago and what a nice couple of months it has been with organizing this event! I am looking forward to meeting you all in November during one or more activities of the Aureus Business Week. If you have any questions, please reach out to me or one of our other committee members. See you in November!

Kim: Hi everyone! My name is Kim Schuitemaker, I am 22 years old, and I am part of the acquisition team of the Aureus Business Week committee. After a bachelor in Public Administration and Organisation Science, I started a Master in BA: Strategy and Organization last year. Besides this, I wanted to do some extra things and that is how I ended up next to my work at De Kleine Consultant and in this committee. In my free time I like to walk through Amsterdam, hang out with friends and play tennis. I am very looking forward to this week and hope to meet you all soon!

Lisa: Hello! I am Lisa van der Post and I am 19 years old. I am one of the acquisition committee members of the Aureus Business Week. I am now in my second year of the bachelor International Business Administration at the VU. I like to do extracurricular activities at the university, for instance, I am a mentor of first year IBA students and I am following the honours programme. In my free time, I love to spend time with my friends, walk with my labradoodle and doings sports, especially tennis. I am really looking forward to be one of the hosts of the Aureus Business Week in November, and I hope to see you there!

Lars: Hey! My name is Lars van der Wal and I am 20 years old. My task in this amazing committee is the acquisition for the Aureus Business Week. I am studying Economics at the VU in Amsterdam and this is my second year at the university full of adventure. Before this I did the Commercial Team committee. In my free time I like to hang out with my friends, play basketball, play video games and watch series. And I also love to run.
I am glad to organise this event for you fellow students with my committee members. I hope we can have a good time and that we can learn a lot from these interesting companies and organisations. See you there!
