ING Bootcamp traineeship experience
How will you change banking? Apply for the ING Bootcamp traineeship experience!
Are you eager to face the challenges of today’s changing financial world? Are you interested in starting a traineeship at ING, but first want to know more about it? Would you like to know if our culture suits you? There’s only one way to find out: join the ING Bootcamp traineeship experience!
The ING Bootcamp, which takes place on 1 and 2 December offers you an in-depth look behind the scenes of ING. These two days will give you all the insights you need! Get inspired by ING’s Think Forward strategy, participate in challenging cases and experience our culture by meeting up with our (senior) managers and current trainees. Our CEO Ralph Hamers will kick-off the ING Bootcamp this year. At the end of the ING Bootcamp you will know what it feels like to work at ING and you gained specific knowledge about the ING International Talent Programme: Wholesale Banking, Finance, IT, Retail Banking, Risk or HR.
What do we expect from you?
To join the ING Bootcamp we require you to be an ambitious Master or final year Bachelor student, who is eager to learn fast and find out what ING has to offer. To excel during the ING Bootcamp, you will need both intellectual and social skills. You will be challenged to show your individual competences, but team spirit is equally important to us.
Furthermore, you meet the following criteria:
- Master or final year Bachelor student (you have to study at a Dutch university);
- Strong analytical skills;
- ‘Can-do’ mentality;
- International mindset;
- Eager to share your vision and strategic thinking;
- Ability to quickly adapt to a complex and dynamic environment.
Are you ready for this challenge? Apply now and show us what you got!

If we see a match, we invite you for the online assessments. In case you pass, you will be invited for a selection interview. These interviews take place between Monday 31 October and Friday 11 November. Make sure you are available during this period. Based on the interviews we select the best candidates.
Please note: the online assessments are a pre-selection for the ING International Talent Programme. The results will remain definite for a future application for one of our traineeships.
Do you still have questions? Please contact Bart Doornink via Bart.Doornink@ing.nl or 06 – 2347 3107.
Deadline application: 30 October 2016. Don’t wait too long: the earlier you apply, the earlier you can start your selection procedure and you have more time to complete the online assessments.
