The VU Introduction Days are the perfect way to get familiar with your new university, meet your fellow students, and discover everything student life in Amsterdam has to offer. During this week, you’ll explore the campus, get to know your study programme, and build your first friendships before your studies begin.
You can choose between a 2-day or a 5-day introduction programme, depending on how much time you want to spend discovering the VU, Amsterdam, and student life. Both options are designed to help you feel at home from day one and give you a great start to your time as a VU student.

Besides the official VU Introduction Days programme, Aureus organises many additional activities throughout the week to help you meet new people, explore Amsterdam, and get the best possible start to your student life. From social activities and challenges to sports and parties, there are plenty of opportunities to connect with your fellow SBE students and create unforgettable memories together.

As a member, you can also join the Aureus First Year Weekend from 4 till 6 September 2026: an unforgettable all-inclusive weekend full of activities, social moments, and themed parties. It is the perfect opportunity to get to know your fellow SBE students even better, strengthen new friendships, and continue your introduction experience beyond the first week.
