Who are we?
The Amsterdam Research Project (ARP) is an international academic consultancy initiative organized by students from the School of Business & Economics at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, in collaboration with study association Aureus.

As a team of 20 ambitious Master’s students, we conduct tailor-made business research for Dutch and international companies seeking to explore opportunities in emerging economies. While we are all part of the School of Business & Economics, our team members come from diverse academic and professional backgrounds, bringing together unique perspectives from previous studies and work experiences.

Throughout the project, we are guided by experienced professors from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam who have been involved with ARP for many years and offer valuable academic and practical expertise. To prepare for the fieldwork, we are trained by leading consultancy firms that help us strengthen our analytical, strategic, and professional skills.

Through a combination of in-depth desk research and on-site fieldwork, we provide organizations with strategic insights and identify growth potential in dynamic markets. In Vietnam, one of Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing economies, we will work with local student buddies who support us with language, culture, and their network.
