About Auditdienst Rijk:

The Auditdienst Rijk: investigations with social impact

The Auditdienst Rijk is the independent internal auditor of the central government. For example, we audit the income and expenditure of ministries, we investigate whether their organization is cleverly designed, and whether all data are kept safe. Auditdienst Rijk is also the audit authority in the Netherlands for the European Commission.

With some 600 experts from various fields, we work on investigations to ensure that tax money is spent lawfully in the Netherlands. We work on behalf of all ministries and conduct investigations into financial, organizational, and IT issues and the management of European financial flows.

We organize all our investigations in such a way that we can flexibly assign our staff to assignments where necessary. We do our work in independence and with appropriate expertise as close to our client as possible. The Auditdienst Rijk is organizationally part of the Ministry of Finance and has offices in Apeldoorn, The Hague, Groningen, Utrecht, and Zwolle.

Auditdienst Rijk is building a solid foundation for a future-conscious central government in an informal businesslike working environment. Here no day is the same and the work is always of social importance.
